Funded Ph.D.'s in Norway
Siv Ellen Kraft recently received a research grant that includes support for two PhD fellows. For details on her research project, see:

Note: The announcement says three years, but UiT usually offers PhD fellows and additional year of support in exchange for teaching a course every term.
Also note that one does not have to know how the Norwegian Language, though one should be fluent in English.

MA in Contemporary Religions

PhD in Study of Religions
The department has a thriving research culture with staff specialisms in South Asian religions, contemporary Islam, Orthodox Christianity, indigenous worldviews and religion and gender. Current postgraduate students’ research topics include indigenous religions in India, contemporary European paganisms, Sufism in Sudan and Irish vernacular religion.

Masters Excellence Scholarships
The scholarship entitles you to a full EU fee waiver for your Masters. To be eligible to apply for a scholarship you must:
• Be starting a taught Masters programme in CACSSS in September 2015
• Have at least Second Class Honours (Grade 1) or equivalent in your first or subsequent degree.

PHD Excellence Scholarships
The scholarship entitles you to a full EU fee waiver for your PhD. To be eligible to apply for a scholarship you must:

• Have at least Second Class Honours (Grade 1) or equivalent in your first or subsequent degree.
